Promoting tree planting in Malawi by planting 300 trees.

Trees play an essential role in mitigating the impact of climate change. Planting trees is one of the most important things we can do to contribute to the health of the planet. That is why Chaminade Marianist Secondary School has taken part in promoting the health of the planet by planting 300 trees around the school compound and the surrounding areas.

The trees play a major role in the growth of other plants and providing a home for animals and birds. Trees are also a symbol of dignity. It is not by chance that trees die standing, and so let us be a symbolic gesture of today, remind ourselves that we need to do whatever we can, not only for a health planet, but for human dignity to be safeguarded in a healthy planet.
